Xoom supports ClickSoftware Service Optimization from version 7.5.4 to the latest release of 8.x. It also supports all versions of Click Field Service Edge.
Field Service Lightning is not currently supported.
Given its power, it is surprisingly easy to start using Xoom.
Once you’ve purchased the license, we take a snapshot of your Click system and make sure that all its aspects, including any customisations, are supported. With your feedback, we will also define the parts of configuration that you wish to use in various automation scenarios. After that, we help you install Xoom Server, and set it up to cover the environments you wish to start with.
For training, we start with a two-hour session after which you will be able to use Xoom for configuration transport, exploration and reporting. We offer additional training sessions as required. It takes a bit of time using Xoom for people to start thinking differently about configuration, and that’s when their creativity gets released.
We offer additional optional services, such as setting up configuration versioning (including automated generation of desired reports), developing custom reports, implementing custom workflows and automations, and anything else really. We are yet to encounter a request we couldn’t meet, so we are looking forward to being challenged!
On premise, we offer both permanent and subscription licenses, while for Field Service Edge we only offer subscription.
With permanent licenses, there is an optional additional annual support and maintenance fee, which gives you access to the support portal and product upgrades within the same major version of Xoom.
Subscription licenses can be purchased in quarterly increments, and include support and maintenance.
Xoom is licensed per project based on the number of production engineers. It poses no further limitations on the number of users or the number of environments.
We do not offer free trials because a good start requires some upfront setup and training. Instead, we offer a discounted upgrade from an initial quarterly license (that is intended to trial the product) into an annual subscription or, where available, a permanent license, effectively backdating the purchase and making the trial retrospectively free.
Not at the moment, although we are expecting to offer this option in the future.
